The
Sonoma County CHANGE Program is a State and Federally accredited
501c(3) organization (EIN 26-2135318) that
has been helping horses in Sonoma County since 2007. CHANGE assists
the Sonoma County Animal Care and Control Department with equine
humane cases by providing 24/7 on-call equine transport, foster and
rehabilitative care, and adoption services for horses in Animal Control
custody. In addition, CHANGE provides training to Animal Control
officers on a wide variety of equine related subjects. All of the
community members who participate in the program do so on a 100%
volunteer basis, and the organization relies completely on donations.
All donations are used to help horses in custody.
