Katie (#Cloverdale12)

UPDATE September 2019:   #Cloverdale12 Katie is still looking for her forever home. She needs someone with experience as she is still learning and needs a confident leader who can give her direction. She has been learning about "boot camp" types of things- leading, tying, being polite, and all of the other things that are needed as foundation before a horse can advance in training. Katie is a pretty and super smart mare and she will be an amazing partner for the right person. Overall, she leads nicely and has good ground manners but still has moments of challenge when she needs someone to help her. She lunges and knows what to do when you work her in the round pen. Katie has probably been the most challenging of the #Cloverdale12 horses because she came to us with very little handling, but she has come a long way and is now ready to find a forever home. Katie's adoption fee is $150 to approved lifetime home. Please contact us at director@sonomachangeprogram.com or 707-570-7050 for more info on Katie.

Katie is a darling bay pinto, about 12 years old. She is a feisty but fun little mare who is full of energy and loves attention.  She has gained confidence at the couple of foster barns she has lived in and she very much enjoys human attention.. She’s very sweet and wants to please, but is a little more uncertain about this new life and all its experiences. But once she trusts her new person, you will have a companion for life. Please email  director@sonomachangeprogram.com for more information.

And did we mention that she is incredibly photogenic? Check out these photos from September 24, 2019:
