Amber (#Cloverdale12)

16 years old

Chestnut QH Mare with Blaze

Amber is a super flashy chestnut Quarter Horse, about 16 years old, and she is very personable and loving. She’s taken on all of her care like a pro- she soaks up affection like a sponge and just wants to cuddle. She has a slight lameness on her left front which may improve with shoes. She is familiar with tack but gets a bit nervous on the lunge line. It is clear that she has some training, albeit inconsistent. We feel that she would enjoy life best as a companion horse/ pasture pal but if someone would like to explore the option of getting her back under saddle, there may be a possibility for that if the management and training are right.

UPDATE September 2018: We are thrilled that Amber has been adopted by a loving family! We would like to especially like to thank her foster mom for working so hard with her and helping her find her way.
