Update: July 2017 Estrella has found her forever home!

Update: 6/22/17: Estrella had her first riding evaluation today, and we're happy to report she's very nice under saddle. Walk-trot-canter. Smooth, floating trot that arabians are known for. Picks up both leads well. Beautiful movement with lots of suspension. Nice sturdy girl with good bone and big feet. Healthy, moves sound, sane and kind. Approx. 14.3 hand with a big barrel . Loves people and attention. We think she'll make a great trail or lower level mount. $150 adoption fee to approved lifetime home. Estrella is a wise soul, with a truly gentle demeanor. Her eyes are filled with great depth and you can see she longs for a person to bond with. She came into our program thin and neglected but has made a rapid turnaround in foster care and is now ready for her forever home. On April 13, 2017 CHANGE received a call from Sonoma County Animal Services asking for our assistance with two thin horses. We picked up the mare and gelding and placed them both in foster barns for assessment and care. Both appear to be Arabian or Arabian crosses and are incredibly sweet.
