Updated May, 2026:
Eva has become the third horse adopted from CHANGE by the same amazing family. We are so happy for Eva who is so deserving of the wonderful life she’ll have. Congratulations Sandra, and many thanks to Dr. Michelle Beko for facilitating another CHANGE horse adoption!

------------------------------------------------
Eva has been in the CHANGE program since December of 2023 as part of an animal hoarding situation. She and another horse, Arnie, have been stuck in legal limbo since just recently due to an ongoing litigation by the people from whom they were seized. Both horses came to us very underweight, and perhaps even more problematic, their feet were terribly overgrown and neglected. They are now healthy and happy and looking for their new forever homes.
Eva is an approximately 19 year old paint mare standing 14'3 hands. While she is healthy and happy, she does have diagnosed navicular disease in both front feet preventing her from being a riding horse. Her navicular is managed by regular (every 6 weeks) farrier trims and she is currently barefoot. She is up to date on all vaccines, dental and hoof care.
She is incredibly sweet and loves any and all attention. Eva would be a wonderful addition to any family and is extremely gentle and kind.
