No Name was a Quarter Horse cross gelding who was abandoned in a vineyard. He was believed to be in his late twenties. No Name showed signs of having been used in an illegal Mexican rodeo event in which horses are run loose at high speed and roped, causing them to fall violently.

Horses that endure this cruel sport suffer from broken bones, fractured teeth and jaws, broken necks, severe hind end injuries as well as crippling rope burns.

If a horse survives the Mexican rodeo season, they have severe, permanent injuries and are usually sold at auction or abandoned. No Name was so weak, he could not stand when any pressure was put on his side.

His tongue was almost completely severed through the use of a hard shank bit. Due to his inability to survive in this condition, he was humanely euthanized by a CHANGE Program veterinarian.
