Sophia is beautiful inside and out. This mare has been through a lot in her life, so you can understand that she’s a little shy around folks she doesn’t know. Once she trusts you, her heart belongs to you. Her manners are always impeccable and she is excellent in a herd. She is ready for her forever home!

Sophia was found along with her companion Maya when law enforcement was investigating the origins of Sugar. This elderly Arabian mare is tough as nails, anmd smart as a whip. She has had to take care of herself for a long time, so she wants to get to know you before she commits. Her foster Mom reports her to be polite and well-mannered. This queen deserves to spend her Golden Years in luxury, and she will return that love ten-fold.

Sophia is a 20-year-old Arabian mare who is looking for her forever home. Though initially suspicious of her caretakers, Sophia has quickly figured out she is living the good life now, and has turned in to a total doll. She is kind, smart, and sweet, and eagerly accepts the care and love of her foster mom. She is best suited as a gentle companion for someone. Though gentle and easy to handle, she can still be a little uncertain about being caught by strangers, so needs someone who can be patient with her until she settles in and starts to trust her caretakers. Once the halter is on, she is as easy as cam be. This lady is looking for someone to give her love and care in her doatage, and will reward you with gentle love and loyalty.
Sophia was found with her friend Maya in Santa Rosa on May 16, 2016 when Sonoma County Animal Services was investigating the origin of Sugar.. Sophia is a lovely gray Arabian mare with a lot of personality. Like her friend Maya, she was in need of hoof care and was thin. Though initially suspicious of her caretakers, Sophia has quickly figured out she is living the good life now, and has turned in to a total doll.
